QUESTIONS: YES AND NO

Q: In volume 4, when Scott pulls out his sword the Power of Love, were you referencing the Huey Louis song “The Power of Love”?

Yes

Q: is The Boys!! and Crash!! based on the locust (or any real life band)? I think they have a lot of similarities with the costumes and super short songs.

No

Q: Were you reading Rick Remender’s Uncanny X-Force? That’s been pretty great.

Yes

Q: You said Scott Pilgrim was available for the iPad, but what about lost at sea?

Yes

Q: Do you mind if people do their own, unofficial, Scott Pilgrim colouring work like me?

No

Q: Did you get to meet the actors when they filmed the Scott Pilgrim movie?

Yes

Q: Though I didn’t win, I had a lot of fun participating in the AltRamona contest. (And your lineart is great coloring practice after the fact!) Since it had such a good turnout, do you see yourself having any more art/coloring contests in the future?

Yes

Q: I just noticed that this girl with the really big hairdo from Seconds is a near dead ringer for Victoria Legrand from Beach House. Was that intentional, just as with Envy Adams and Emily Haines?

No

Q: So many quirky and likable characters you bring to life via this medium. Do you have any particular inspiration?

No

Q: Is there going to be an evil-ex and/or collectors edition for every one of the color releases?

Yes

Q: I read that cutting off hair in ancient Asia (Japan, China, Korea & possibly some other Asian cultures) symbolized being banished or rejected from your home. In the more modern age that is now, cutting long hair to short means to forget the past, leaving the old and starting anew. Could this also be a contributing factor as to why Ramona cut her hair so short when she left both Gideon and Scott? I just thought of that.

Yes

Q: can I say that you are awesome and also super kewl

Yes

Q: Have you read Solanin?

Yes

Q: I’m a nerd, and I was wondering if all of your stories (i.e. Lost at Sea, Scott Pilgrim, and now Seconds) take place in the same universe?

No

Q: Just a thought: Do you know if you’re related to Grace O’Malley, famed Irish pirate queen and badass?

No
