Another early (late-ish) Lis sketch. Lis from Seconds.

While I was drawing the first half of the book, her eyes were red-on-black, but I just found it difficult to make her expressive enough, so I switched to red-on-white.

Katie’s favorite chair was more prominent in the story outline and ended up not being very important in the finished book.

I did these last year when I was prepping for the color editions… the only one we didn’t use is the reddish-orangey color, because it conflicted with Envy in that book. Instead she stays pink for the first two and goes dark purple in book 3. The rest will probably proceed on course…
